About
Wale Oshinowo is a software engineer and product builder focused on creating technology that makes complicated systems easier to understand and use.
His work sits at the intersection of engineering, product thinking, and design. He is particularly interested in the moments where people encounter complexity: completing an unfamiliar process, making a high-stakes decision, or trying to understand what a system expects from them. He builds products that make those moments clearer.
Professionally, Wale has spent much of his career building customer-facing digital experiences with React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies. His work has included healthcare platforms, authentication and registration flows, accessible design systems, experimentation tools, and commerce experiences. Across these projects, he has learned that good software is not defined only by how well it functions. It is also defined by how confidently people can use it.
That belief led him to create MigraIQ, a privacy-first immigration technology platform designed to help visa applicants identify gaps, organize their documents, and better understand the strength of their applications before submission.
Immigration is often treated as a paperwork problem. In reality, it is also an information, communication, and product-design problem. Applicants are expected to navigate complex requirements, fragmented guidance, and decisions that can significantly affect their lives. MigraIQ is Wale's effort to bring greater clarity, structure, and transparency to that experience.
Beyond MigraIQ, he explores ideas around artificial intelligence, digital trust, accessible product design, and the role technology can play in improving systems that were not originally designed around the people using them.
Wale cares about thoughtful execution, restrained design, and products that earn trust through usefulness rather than noise. Whether he is writing code, shaping a product, or communicating an idea, his goal is the same:
Turn complexity into clarity, and clarity into meaningful action.
